Where the open ocean meets the coast

Måløy is located on the island of Vågsøy, along Norway’s most weather-beaten coast. Here, closeness to the sea is identity itself. The coastal town offers exciting wartime history, rare nature experiences, and places to stay you won’t soon forget.

Måløy and Vågsøy are part of Kinn municipality, and belong to the travel region Visit Sunnfjord and FjordKysten. Read more about Måløy on Fjord Norway.

Lighthouses around Vågsøy

Several lighthouses mark the coast around Vågsøy, and several of them are now open for visits and overnight stays.
