Who are we?

Visit Nordfjord AS is the official destination company for the Nordfjord region. We work to develop, showcase, and market Nordfjord as a travel destination – for the benefit of local businesses, municipalities, those of us who live here, and visitors.

Through strategic collaboration between businesses, municipalities, and the county authority, we help make Nordfjord an even more well-known destination, nationally and internationally. The municipalities of Bremanger, Gloppen, Stad, and Stryn are part of the collaboration. We also have members in the municipalities of Kinn, Vanylven, and Volda.

Our main tasks are marketing, B2B activities, hosting, and member follow-up. Visit Nordfjord holds the Sustainable Tourism label. We work purposefully to develop tourism in balance with nature, local communities, and cultural heritage.

This is how we work:

Visit Nordfjord will focus exclusively on tasks related to visibility, marketing, and sales-promoting work

Destination marketing and visibility (all seasons)
Sales-promoting work with tour operators
Press and familiarisation trips that contribute to increased visibility for the region
Member dialogue and member follow-up
Projects with broad support and strong anchoring in the tourism industry
Knowledge provider for the tourism industry (within areas where the company has specialised expertise)
Participation in destination management

Our vision

Nordfjord – a compact and complete piece of Norway. From fjord to mountain, glaciers to surfing beaches, and everything in between. Nordfjord is a region where nature, culture, and experiences are located a short distance from each other.
