Equipment
You need suitable ski touring equipment, including touring skis, telemark skis or a splitboard with skins and suitable boots. Avalanche safety equipment is also required.
Breogfjell offers rental of avalanche safety equipment, including avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes. Ice axes and crampons are also available for tours where required.
Group size and booking
For quality and safety reasons, Breogfjell operates with a maximum of six participants per guide on ski tours. More complex tours may have fewer participants per guide.

Stryn offers excellent ski touring from winter through spring and into the early summer, depending on snow conditions. The main season is January to June, with March onwards being particularly well suited to spring ski touring.
