Rent a 120 years old cottage
Treat yourself to a stay at Ryggjastøylen, and experience the fantastic atmosphere!
The cottage is about 120 years old, and lies in a cluster of similar buildings in a community. In the past, there was active stall operation on Ryggjastøylen.
You can rent the stable with and without a horse. It is a requirement that those who rent the cottage with a horse are horse experts. They must take responsibility for the horses on the days they rent them.

- No electricity (primus for cooking)
- No refrigerator
- Water in the river below (Stall Rygg can supply cans of water)
- No shower facilities (Traudalsvatnet is about 15 min walk away), and the toilet is outside
- Fireplace inside the harness
- barbecue (subject to restrictions on the use of fire outside in the summer and any charcoal, guests must keep to themselves)
- Bed linen and washing of the cottage are included
- Cups / dishes / glasses / cutlery for 5 pers
- Frying pan
It is about 3-5 min walk from the road to the cottage. The cottage consists of 2 rooms (kitchen and stove / sleeping area + outdoor toilet).
Here you can book the cottage for 2 days. If you wish to rent the cottage longer, contact Morten Rygg (41510424) directly.
If they are a larger group, it is possible to rent another cottage from 15 June. There is accommodation for 2 people + possibly 2 children on a mattress on the floor (MRK. This cottage is only a supplement for larger groups, and is not suitable for renting out individually, as there is mostly only a bed, oven and a propane stove available in the harness.) Price for the extra cottage is 750, - per day. Contact Morten Rygg directly if this is relevant.
One can also rent a boat (200, - per day) and buy a fishing license. This must be agreed with Morten (+47 41510424) before arrival.
Toll road comes in addition (50, -)
