Tvinnefossen waterfall

Tvinnefossen is indeed a magnificent waterfall, likely the largest waterfall in Northern Europe that both animals and humans can walk behind.

General information

To reach Tvinnefossen, follow the Panorama Road (F698) from Stryn towards Hopland and park at Rand School, where parking is available for a fee. The hike is easy, approximately 1.5 km on mostly flat terrain, and suitable for both young and old. The waterfall is at its most powerful in spring when the snow melts.
