Skjærbuda
Where waves meet history, you'll find Skjærbuda – a coastal gem where you can enjoy local food right by the sea.
Skjærbuda is a former herring saltery turned into a unique eatery with strong character and a spectacular location in the southern harbour of Silda. Open from Easter to September – and by appointment – Skjærbuda also has its own guest marina where you can arrive by boat.
Silda was once a thriving fishing village in outer Nordfjord, home to more than 200 people. Today, it’s a peaceful island retreat with only a handful of year-round residents – and a haven for summer visitors.
