For those visiting Nordfjord and Western Norway, Fjord1 is a natural part of the journey. Our ferries and high-speed boats connect local communities, islands and fjord arms – and offer you a unique opportunity to experience the spectacular Western Norwegian landscape from the water.
One of our routes runs through the Geirangerfjord, which is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Take the Geiranger–Hellesylt route, and we’ll give you a close-up view of some of the most beautiful scenery Norway has to offer.
Travelling with Fjord1 is more than just transport from A to B. It’s part of the experience. On deck, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of steep mountains, deep fjords and small villages clinging to the mountainsides.
We are constantly working to make your journey safe, comfortable and sustainable. Several of our ferries run entirely or partly on electricity, which reduces emissions and helps preserve the pristine nature that many come here to experience.
On board, you’ll find facilities that make the journey comfortable, whether you’re travelling by car, bike or on foot. Here you’ll find a kiosk, toilets and power sockets.
