General information

The magnificent Briksdal Glacier is one of the most famous glacier experiences in Norway. Located in the Jostedalsbreen National Park, the glacier stretches down towards the lush and narrow Briksdal Valley, surrounded by steep mountains and beautiful scenery.

Step aboard a comfortable bus and join a guided tour from the port of Nordfjordeid. The journey takes you along the Nordfjord and through the famous Nordfjord Panorama Road, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the fjord, mountains and surrounding cultural landscape.

On arrival in Briksdal, you can either walk the approximately 3 km to the glacier or take one of the famous Troll Cars. The Troll Cars take you through the valley and close to the glacier, offering a convenient way to experience the spectacular scenery.

Next to the bus stop, you will find a cafeteria where you can enjoy lunch or refreshments and browse a selection of souvenirs.
