Kalvåg is one of the best-preserved fishing villages in Western Norway. The fishing village lies right out on the edge of the open sea on the island of Frøya in Bremanger, and it’s the place you go when you want to experience salty coastal culture, great food and an atmosphere that’s hard to put into words. Not far from the fishing village is the storm cabin Dosabu, which is a popular hiking destination for both locals and visitors.

From the floating sauna Kok og Bad you can enjoy the sight of islets, charming rorbuer and small fishing boats. Take a refreshing dip in the sea followed by steam in the warm sauna, which is located right by the quay.
