Fru Inga Apartments offers four holiday apartments in a newly renovated house right by the waterfront in Stadlandet.
The building is situated on its own grounds, just 20 minutes from Hoddevik and 2 minutes from the centre of Leikanger. Right next to the apartments, you will find Fru Inga’s Bakery & Restaurant, offering a wide selection of freshly baked goods as well as lunch and dinner. The restaurant is fully licensed.
The apartments have one or two bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 guests in total. All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Each apartment has its own bathroom with a shower and washing machine.
All apartments have a TV and fibre internet.
The four apartments are located in the same building, with a shared entrance and hallway. Two apartments are on the first floor and two on the second floor. The apartments range from 55 to 70 m². The largest apartments have two bedrooms – one with a large double bed and one with two single beds. The smaller apartments have one bedroom with a large double bed.
Safety is a priority, and each apartment has its own ventilation system. All apartments have fully equipped kitchens with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove and everything you need to prepare a good meal.
The apartments are beautifully situated right by the sea, with sea views from every room. There are excellent opportunities for swimming and fishing just outside the door. The natural outdoor surroundings are right next to Fru Inga’s restaurant, which has a large, furnished outdoor terrace available to guests.
During your stay, you may even be lucky enough to spot some of the wildlife that lives in and around the sea. Otters, white-tailed eagles, whales and seabirds can all be seen in the area.
Explore Stadlandet
Leikanger is an excellent starting point for exploring Stadlandet and the surrounding area. From the apartments, it takes just 20 minutes to reach Hoddevik, one of Norway’s best-known surfing destinations. Ervik beach is even closer, and there are opportunities to rent surf equipment and take part in surfing activities for the whole family.
Stadlandet has 18 marked hiking trails, offering beautiful scenery, recreation and relaxation as well as more challenging hikes. The trails are free to use and well marked, with several offering spectacular panoramic views.
For mountain and trail biking, the area offers varied terrain and scenic routes connecting the villages around Stadlandet. Kayaking, SUP and canoeing are also popular activities in the area.
In Leikanger, you will find an outdoor tennis court with an artificial grass surface, built in 2019. The court meets international standards, and tennis equipment can be rented if needed. There is also an outdoor beach volleyball court and a skate park. At the local school, there is an activity trail with various obstacles that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
