Dagsturhytta at Veten

Go to the day hut at Veten in Bremanger, beautifully located with wide views of the ocean. The hike starts at Grotlesanden beach and suits those looking for a nice hike.

General information

At the top of Veten, approximately 520 meters above sea level, lies a cabin with a beautiful view out towards the sea. The hike starts at Grotlesanden and goes from the boathouses, through a gate in the stone fence and up into the open landscape. The hike is 4.3 km each way and takes around two hours at a moderate pace. The cabin is always open and you can enjoy your packed lunch, warm up and browse books. The cabin has a Norwegian Nynorsk hiking library with many different books.
