Originally built as a residence by the Rise family in the 1860s, Øyratunet is the oldest house in Svelgen. People lived here until the 1970s. Today, Bremanger municipality owns Øyratunet, while Svelgen Art Association operates the house as a gallery. Øyratunet is part of the cultural heritage trail in Svelgen and is a nice stop for those wanting a journey back into local history. If you want to visit the gallery, check opening hours in advance.
