Kleivane skisenter is a 15-minute drive from the centre of Sandane. The ski centre is situated 480 m.a.s.l. and is an excellent starting point for skiing trips.
There is a fee for using the car park. You may want to buy a season ticket for NOK 600 at the Circle K or at Sparebanken Sogn and Fjordane in Sandane.
Even though Haugsvarden is a ‘mere’ 862 m.a.s.l., it offers lovely views. You can see Sandane, Lote, Hennebygda, Hopland and Innvik, as well as the mountains Russdalshornet,
