Every day, Nordfjord Walking Festival offers a selection of hikes for the person who enjoys outdoor life and being in company of others. Whether your preferences is to walk along a historical road or to challenge the steep mountains, the choice is yours! The nature in Nordfjord is a perfect setting for hikes with a wide range in both difficulty and adventure. All hikes are accompanied by a local guide and we guarantee the hike if you sign up before 6 pm the day before the trip. You can sign up by visiting the tourist information offices in Nordfjord, or by calling +47 57 87 40 54.
The great finale of Nordfjord Walking Festival is "Skaala Uphill 1.848 m.a.s.l." - North Europes toughest mountain race. This is a competition and up-hill race. The hike is 8,2 kilometres and the average rise is 22,5%.
