We wish you a warm welcome to Nordfjord. Port of Olden – Nordfjord consists of the following ports: Måløy, Selje, Nordfjordeid, Sandane and Olden. This site present information we hope will be useful when calling in at Olden, or one of our other ports.

INFORMATION

Olden

The Nordfjord ends in three branches; Olden is located in the south. The beautiful Olden Valley stretches approx. 20 km in between 1.700 metres tall mountains at the edge of Jostedalsbreen Glacier.

Excursions

There is a great range of excursions offered from the ports in Nordfjord: Briksdal Glacier, the Geirangerfjord, the Panorama Road, activities and more.

Olden in Frommers' "Best Cruise Itineraries for 2012"

The well known magazine Frommers has recommended top 10 cruise for 2012, and Norway is in the top 10 list, with cruises that include Olden.

Briksdalsbreen voted one of the best attractions in the world

One of the largest and most recognized cruise magazines "Dream World Cruise Destinations" has voted Briksdalsbreen to one of the best attractions in 2010.

Cruise Europe about Port of Olden - Nordfjord

Olden is expecting 67 calls this year, up from 60 in 2010. For 2012 the Norwegian port already has 53 calls booked. In tonnage terms the ships are just getting bigger rising from a total of 2.6m gt last year to 3.8m in 2012. Passenger numbers in 2010 reached 66,702.
